NARS Zulu Nail Polish - The Polish Addict!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have admit, I'm not a fan of the green polish (any green polish... on me anyway) but The Polish Addict's site (which I do check about 3 times a day) gave me a much-needed good laugh at the end of a long hard day! What I love most about this witty post are all these great references to art and art history!

Being the Art History student that I am, I LOVE all these different works from different periods!!!

I especially love the Baudry. Swoon over the Nars! LOL!

Thank you, Polish Addict for a great post (and for incorporating great works of art in our daily lives)!

I hope you get your Zulu!

(Lichtenstein's my all time favorite artist) ;-)

Kate Moss' New Do...

Oh geez... I love this and I don't even know why!

Ok, I do... Cause it looks great (on her) and she looks great!

My hair would never do this. Aside from the fact that my hair is all one color (black), my frizzy curl would rebel.
I like the simple shape of the cut, but I think what I really love is the color. It seems a bit lighter or a bit more honey-colored? I dunno... I'm not much of a color expert (since, again... if/when I do color my hair, it's just one color - black).

Anyway, it seems to make her look more tan. A golden glow!

As my summer tan fades, and I become more fair, this is nice to see!
I gotta get out my bronzer. :)

Fashion Week - Spring 2009

You know I love my bright coral lips!

I love Twinkle and I LOVE this look. It's very early Stila.

I can see this being Stila's Miranda lipstick with a #1 pencil and Tangerine or Peach Lip Glaze on top.

Or even MAC's See Sheer with Love Nectar over it.

Rescue Beauty Lounge - Au Chocolate

My latest craving. Rescue's Au Chocolate.

It's a nice variation from the latest deep purples and the usual blacks and navys.
It's so rich!

That's Rescue's Plie on the rest of my fingers. Also very pretty and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Fall Colors!!!!!!!!!!!!

I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have been patiently waiting for this day to come!

I've purposely not bought ANYTHING new in forever... I didn't buy anything from OPI's France Collection (It's really only 'You Don't Know Jacques!' and 'Tickle my France-y' I'd buy anyway)...

I've been in nail limbo for about a week and a half now...

I've been waiting and it's finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rescue's Fall Colors!!!!

Already I can tell that I LOVE Bruised. It's gorgeous and I love it next to Plie! That Teal is beautiful and would be great on my toes!

Even that green is nice (tho, much like Yellow, I dunno that I can pull off Olive Green).

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Ji! I've been waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :+)

Real Simple Magazine

Real Simple has quickly become one of my favorite mags!

I am a magazine girl! Lucky has always been my all-time favorite magazine ever!!!

It's always at the top of my list!

Then after that, it's the usual... Vogue, Allure and InStyle.

These days I find myself really excited about the next issue of Real Simple!

They do have a little section usually on Fashion and Beauty, which is ok... No one comes close to Lucky and Allure...

But Real Simple has all these other great things like budget and finance tips (which I always need!) and recipes and home ideas.

There's usually a cute little monthly section on unique ideas/uses for practical day to day items!

This month's post earrings keeping broken glasses that've lost their little screw and using shower curtail hooks to hang purses on!

Cute!

Avon ADVANCE TECHNIQUES Grey Root Touch-up

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to BeautySnob for letting us in on this!

Avon has a Touch-Up wand for those unwanted Greys!!!

I can't tell you how much this comes at the perfect time!

Just the other day I was literally complaining about how my greys aren't enough to color my hair all the time... but they're there and sometimes they pop out more than other times!

I was wondering if there was a wand that could just cover few strands, and here it is!!!!!!!!!!!

At $5.99, the Price is Nice! And it seems to get some good comments/reviews both on the Avon site and Amazon site!

I'm curious to know how "black" the black is... I can't wait to try it!

:)
